Bless you for joining this brother, for taking the time to reach out and touch the lives of those you came across! So when are you coming out to the NW? :-) My husband has a fellow laborer and wonderful brother in the Lord who ministers with him on the streets who is homeless. You wouldn't know it by looking at him for "J" gets up every morning and bathes, he washes his clothes and keeps himself neat and clean. He doesn't use drugs or alcohol. He takes computer classes and is trying to figure out what the Lord would have him do next.He just prefers a simple life, plus it is hard to get back on your feet and get a job once you're without an income or permanent residence. We're all trying to work on getting him an apartment but in the meantime he joyfully keeps right on preaching, working with young guys and co-teaching a bible study with Richard and wow; he is an awesome and anointed man of God who loves Jesus with all his heart! Your post just made me think of him and how men like these are often unfairly looked down upon by other christains even, because they do not fit the status quo christian lifestyle or the worlds ( which are virtually indistinguishable .
